Event Coordination

GEMS staff are available to help you with the planning and coordination of your Audio Visual equipment for your next conference or special event. GEMS serves as a departmental representative to assure your needs are understood and your events are successfully produced. We are free to meet with you to plan the event and manage the technical requirements involved. Audio

GEMS staff can provide sound systems for events and functions capable of reinforcing announcements, presentations, and concerts. We also offer technical assistance and consultation in using the wide range of presentation spaces available on campus.

Projection

GEMS Audio Visual Services provides large-screen projection for a variety of image formats. Many classrooms are permanently fitted for data and video projection via Data Projectors and/or Smart Expression Tables to accommodate PCs, Macs, Document Camera, VHS and DVD video formats. Most classrooms at Graceland are equipped with overhead transparency projectors. Portable projection equipment is also available for classrooms not equipped. GEMS can provide Data Projectors for data and video sources, slide projectors, and overhead projectors. Please schedule equipment with us as early as possible to ensure availability. GEMS REQUEST.

Our duplicating services cover a variety of formats including audio
cassette tape (analog), DAT tape (digital), Mini disc, digital, CD, VHS
videotape, Mini DV, and DVD
.

Price List for Audio Visual Work

Copyrighted materials will not be duplicated unless you provide a written statement from the copyright holder giving permission for copies to be made for you. Copies of off-air recordings are subject to the Educational Off-Air Taping Guidelines and will not be performed without written document from the copyright holder.

CLASSROOM SERVICES

GEMS provides the community with a large variety of AV equipment to meet their instructional and presentation needs. Trained staff will deliver and set up equipment in any classroom, lecture hall, or conference room on campus. Technicians are also available to help you with the use of any permanently installed display technology equipment on campus. GEMS also maintains and services all installed Presentation Technology Systems on Campus. Classrooms are serviced regularly insuring that equipment is kept up to industry standards. Click here to report a problem with any classroom installed Audio Visual equipment.
